Disney Yacht Club is the second resort at Walt Disney World from the perspective of luxury conditions.

A late 1800 seaside resort is what comes to mind when seeing Disney Yacht Club Resort. It opened in Nov 1990.

Resort

Theme and atmosphere

The nautical theme is sustained by items such as the lighthouse, the shingled exterior, the blue and white awnings, the hardwood floors, the brass accents, the giant globe in the lobby.

Rooms are also in keeping with the marine theme – the beds (with steering wheels), the bed covers, the colors (white, blue, red).

Location

The Resort is located in the Epcot area, along the shore of Crescent Lake, opposite the Boardwalk Resort and Swan and Dolphin. The resort shares restaurants and recreational facilities with The Beach Club.
